Short video hook prompts for one clip

Use footage you already have to test five different openings for Reels, TikTok, or Shorts.

Start with the result

Upload your clip in Video Editor. Find the strongest final moment on the timeline and try it as the opening shot.

Try this: I uploaded a 30-second clip of our foldable desk lamp. Suggest a 12-second cut that opens with the lamp fully set up, then shows the fold and the light turning on. Give me one short opening text line and a caption. Use only the footage I supplied.

Open with a question

A specific customer question can create a reason to keep watching. Add it as editable on-screen text, then show the answer in the clip.

Try this: From this lamp demo, make a short edit that opens with the on-screen question 'Will it fit on a tiny desk?' Show the folded size, then the lamp in use. Keep the text readable in a vertical crop and end with a simple product shot.

Show the tiny transformation

Use a quick before-and-after sequence only when the source footage shows both states. Avoid fabricating a result.

Try this: Find the moment in my footage where the desk is dark and the moment after the lamp switches on. Build a 10-second before-and-after cut around those real shots. Suggest a short caption without making any brightness or performance claim we have not provided.

Let the detail do the work

Try a close-up edit for viewers who care about the product's mechanism or finish. Use captions when sound is off.

Try this: Make a 10-second vertical cut focused on the hinge and folding movement in my product clip. Start with the closest clear shot, trim pauses, and suggest no more than two short caption lines. Keep the actual product sound if it helps the moment.

Make a silent version

Preview the video muted. Add only the text needed to understand the action, then export the format each channel needs.

Try this: Create a silent-friendly version of this lamp demo for a vertical feed. Use the strongest three moments, add concise editable text for the fold, setup, and final look, and leave the last second clear for a call to action I can add myself.
