Privacy Policy

How Cogniten KLG handles information when you use the ZMEU website, creative workspace, and connected tools.

Last updated: September 24, 2026

Cogniten KLG operates ZMEU at zmeu.ai. In this policy, “ZMEU,” “we,” and “us” mean Cogniten KLG. This policy covers the website, accounts, workspaces, AI creation and editing tools, scheduling and publishing, analytics, social inbox features, billing, support, and related communications. Contact us at info@zmeu.ai.

1. Our role and the information we receive

Cogniten KLG is responsible for account, billing, website, and service-operation data. When an organization uses a shared workspace, its owner or administrator may control the content and member activity in that workspace. Depending on the circumstances, we process that workspace data to provide the service on the organization’s instructions.

  • Account and team data: name, username, email, login credentials or sign-in provider identifiers, workspace membership, role, invitations, preferences, and support messages.
  • Creative and business data: brand profiles, products, websites you ask us to analyze, uploaded photos, video, audio, documents, logos, fonts, prompts, notes, comments, drafts, generated outputs, and editing history.
  • Social and publishing data: connected account identifiers and access tokens, platform profiles, selected pages or boards, post schedules, published and imported posts, engagement metrics, comments, and messages when you enable those features and the platform grants access.
  • Billing and usage data: plan, subscription status, invoices, transaction identifiers, credit balances, usage records, and promotion or referral details. Payment card details are collected by our payment processor, not stored by ZMEU.
  • Technical data: IP address, device and browser information, approximate location inferred from IP, cookies and local storage, pages visited, feature use, error logs, and security events. When an error occurs in the app, we automatically collect diagnostic details and, when available, a screenshot of the app with page text, form fields, and media masked. These reports are available to our internal support team for troubleshooting.

We receive these data from you and your team, connected platforms you authorize, payment and sign-in providers, and your use of the website and service. Please do not upload personal information about other people unless you have the rights and notices needed to do so.

2. Why we use information

We use information to:

  • create accounts and workspaces, authenticate users, manage teams, and provide support;
  • store brand information and media, generate and edit content, run AI tools, and provide the features you request;
  • connect social accounts, import permitted data, show analytics and inbox items, and schedule or publish content you authorize;
  • process subscriptions, credits, payments, refunds, and service notices;
  • protect accounts, detect misuse, troubleshoot, measure performance, and improve reliability and usability; and
  • meet legal obligations, respond to lawful requests, and defend rights and claims.

Where the GDPR applies, our legal bases are performance of a contract for service delivery, legitimate interests for security and service improvement, compliance with legal duties, and consent where required for optional processing or communications. You may withdraw consent where processing relies on it.

3. AI inputs, outputs, and human review

To run a requested AI feature, ZMEU may send relevant prompts, reference media, brand context, and other selected inputs to third-party AI and processing providers. Outputs return to your workspace and may be stored there. Provider location and handling can vary by model. ZMEU does not use private workspace content in public marketing without your permission. We do not use private workspace content to train a general ZMEU model without separate notice and a lawful basis.

AI output may be inaccurate or resemble existing material. You control whether to edit, approve, export, schedule, or publish it. Limited authorized personnel may access content when needed to respond to your support request, investigate abuse or security issues, or comply with law, subject to access controls.

4. Connected accounts and platform data

If you connect an account, ZMEU receives the identifiers, permissions, tokens, and data made available for the features you enable. Depending on the integration, these can include Meta (Facebook and Instagram), LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, and Pinterest. Some connections and publishing functions run through a social publishing provider. We use connected data to show account information, import content or metrics, manage comments or messages where supported, and carry out publishing actions you request.

You can disconnect a supported account in ZMEU or revoke access at the platform. Disconnection stops new access and we remove or invalidate locally held access tokens as the integration permits. Previously imported records may remain in the workspace until removed or the account is deleted. Content already published to another platform remains there under that platform’s rules.

If you use Google sign-in or another Google API connection, our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will follow the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

5. Who can receive information

We share information only as needed for the purposes above, including with:

  • workspace owners and members according to their roles and sharing settings;
  • hosting, storage, security, email, support, analytics, and AI processing providers;
  • Stripe for checkout, subscriptions, invoices, fraud checks, and billing;
  • social platforms and publishing intermediaries when you connect accounts or request publishing; and
  • authorities or other parties when required by law or needed to protect rights and safety.

We do not sell personal information or private customer content. We do not share private workspace content for third-party advertising or use it in public case studies without permission. Service providers may process information under their own applicable terms and our arrangements with them.

6. Cookies, analytics, and communications

We use cookies and local storage for sign-in, security, language, preferences, and the cookie-banner choice. We also use website analytics and performance measurement to understand visits and errors. Some of these tools may operate without cookies. You can use the banner choices and browser settings to manage cookies; rejecting optional cookies does not disable strictly necessary storage or all cookie-free measurement.

We send service and billing messages needed to operate your account. Promotional messages, where used, can be opted out of using the message instructions or by contacting us.

7. Storage, security, and retention

We use access controls, HTTPS, protected storage, monitoring, and other reasonable safeguards. No online service can guarantee absolute security. We keep information while an account or workspace is active and as needed for the purposes in this policy. After deletion or disconnection, some information may remain for a limited period in backups or where needed for tax, billing, fraud prevention, security, disputes, or law. Retention varies by data type and provider; we do not promise immediate deletion from every backup or third-party platform.

8. International processing

ZMEU and its service providers may process information in countries other than yours. Where required, we use appropriate contractual or other legal safeguards for transfers. Contact us if you want information about the safeguards relevant to your data.

9. Your choices and rights

Depending on your location and the law that applies, you may request access, correction, deletion, a copy of your data, restriction, or objection to processing. You may also withdraw consent and lodge a complaint with a competent data-protection authority. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information where the law permits or requires it. Workspace members may also need to contact their workspace administrator about organization-controlled content.

Send requests to info@zmeu.ai. See our personal information page and data deletion instructions for more detail.

10. Children and policy changes

ZMEU is intended for adults and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly create accounts for children. We may update this policy as the service changes. We will post the revised version here and give additional notice when the change is material or required by law.
