ZMEU legal

Terms of Use

The rules for using ZMEU’s creative workspace, AI tools, connected accounts, and paid plans.

Last updated: October 8, 2026

These Terms are an agreement between you and Cogniten KLG, the operator of ZMEU at zmeu.ai. “ZMEU,” “we,” and “us” refer to Cogniten KLG. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you use ZMEU for an organization, you confirm that you may bind that organization to these Terms. A separately signed business agreement controls where it conflicts with these Terms.

1. What ZMEU provides

ZMEU is a workspace for brand planning, content generation, image, video and audio editing, asset storage, collaboration, scheduling, publishing, inbox workflows, and social analytics. Availability varies by plan, region, model, and connected platform. Some features are experimental or depend on third-party services. We may update, replace, or discontinue features, with notice when a material change affects a paid plan.

2. Accounts and workspaces

You must be at least 18, provide accurate account information, and keep credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account, except where caused by our breach of these Terms or the law. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. A workspace owner is responsible for its members, plan, and connected accounts. Owners and administrators can manage workspace membership and access content and activity shared within that workspace.

3. Your content and permissions

You retain your rights in the brand assets, products, text, prompts, photos, audio, video, drafts, and other material you provide. As between you and ZMEU, you also control outputs generated for your workspace, to the extent the law allows. AI outputs may not qualify for intellectual-property protection, may resemble other outputs, and may involve third-party rights. We cannot guarantee exclusivity.

You grant ZMEU and the providers needed to operate it a limited right to host, copy, process, transform, display within your workspace, and transmit your content as necessary to provide features you request, secure and support the service, and comply with law. This right ends when the content is removed, subject to reasonable backup periods and legal retention. We will not use private workspace content in our public marketing without permission.

You confirm that you have the rights, notices, and consents needed for material you upload or publish, including images, music, trademarks, personal data, and another person’s face or voice. You remain responsible for your content and its use outside ZMEU.

If you select a third-party image, including a Pinterest Pin, as a visual reference, you confirm that you have the rights or other lawful basis needed to provide it for the processing you request and to use the resulting output for your intended purpose. An image being public, saved to a board, or accessible through a connected account does not itself establish those rights. You must respect the image creator’s rights and the source platform’s applicable rules. Do not use a reference to request a close copy of someone else’s protected work.

4. AI tools and review

AI tools can produce inaccurate, incomplete, biased, offensive, or infringing material. Review all outputs before relying on or publishing them, especially factual claims, prices, offers, regulated advice, likenesses, and advertising. ZMEU does not guarantee business results, originality, legal compliance, or acceptance by a social or ad platform. Where law requires disclosure that content is AI generated or edited, you are responsible for making that disclosure.

When you use a visual reference, review the output for recognizable people, brands, artwork, and distinctive similarities to the source before exporting or publishing it. You decide whether and how to use an output, subject to these Terms and applicable law. This responsibility does not remove any obligations ZMEU has under applicable law or its agreements with third-party platforms.

5. Connected services and publishing

You may connect third-party accounts for supported functions. You authorize ZMEU and its publishing providers to access the data and perform the actions you enable, including importing content and metrics, showing comments or messages, and publishing scheduled or approved posts to selected accounts. You must have authority to connect and act for each account. A scheduled post may publish without another prompt at the scheduled time, so check its destination, timing, and content beforehand.

Third-party platforms set their own permissions, terms, rate limits, and content policies. Connections, metrics, messaging, and publishing can fail or change because of their systems. Disconnecting an account stops future access but does not remove posts already published there. ZMEU is not endorsed by those platforms.

6. Acceptable use

You may not use ZMEU to:

  • violate law, privacy rights, intellectual-property rights, or a connected platform’s rules;
  • create or distribute fraudulent, deceptive, defamatory, hateful, harassing, exploitative, or non-consensual intimate material;
  • impersonate a person or organization, or use a person’s face or voice without required permission;
  • send spam, manipulate engagement, or publish misleading advertising or unsupported claims;
  • probe, disrupt, reverse engineer, or bypass service security, limits, or access controls; or
  • use automated access or resell the service outside a written agreement with us.
  • use the service, its outputs, or data derived from them to train, fine-tune, evaluate, or improve an AI model or a competing content creation, editing, scheduling, or publishing service without our prior written consent.

This restriction does not prevent normal use of your outputs in your own or your clients' marketing, publishing, and other creative work.

We may review reports, limit access, remove content, or suspend accounts where reasonably necessary for safety, legal compliance, non-payment, or a material breach. We will give notice when practical, except where doing so would create risk or be legally prohibited.

7. Plans, credits, and fair use

Plans include the seats, brands, storage, creative credits, content runs, and other limits shown on the pricing page or in your account. Credits are units for supported features, not money, and cannot be exchanged for cash. Usage costs can vary by tool, model, input, and output. We show applicable costs or limits in the product where possible. Service protection measures such as queues, rate limits, and reasonable fair-use controls may apply even where a feature is described as unlimited.

8. Subscriptions, renewals, and cancellation

Paid plans are billed through Stripe. Monthly plans are charged each month. Yearly plans display a monthly equivalent for comparison but charge the full yearly amount at once at checkout and on each annual renewal. The checkout shows the amount, billing interval, applicable discounts, and taxes before you pay. Your subscription renews automatically for the same interval until canceled.

You can cancel through billing settings or contact info@zmeu.ai. Cancellation stops the next renewal; access normally continues through the paid period. We do not charge a payment method for creating a free account. A later paid subscription requires a separate checkout authorization.

Free accounts remain available subject to the stated usage limits. The one-time 20-credit welcome gift expires 30 days after account creation if unused. Free video exports include a visible Zmeu watermark.

Launch offer: up to 59% off

The advertised offer is available through October 31, 2026. The countdown shows the time remaining in the current offer period. The offer covers the paid Starter, Growth, and Pro plans shown on the pricing page. Free accounts and the Lite plan are excluded. Savings vary by plan and billing interval. The highest displayed saving is on Starter billed annually: $288 per year compared with the $696 per year comparison amount shown on the pricing page. That is about 58.6%, rounded to 59%; it is not the discount on every plan. Monthly plans show 50% savings against their displayed comparison amounts. Annual subscriptions are charged in full for the year, even where the pricing page shows a monthly equivalent. Comparison amounts are the reference figures used to calculate the advertised savings, not a statement that every customer previously paid those amounts. The exact price, billing interval, taxes, and renewal details are shown at checkout before payment.

If you accept promotional pricing for a paid plan, the discount applies for the duration shown with the offer or at checkout. After it ends, your subscription continues at the then-applicable plan price disclosed to you, unless you cancel before the next charge. Any additional offer terms shown when you sign up also apply.

Fees are generally non-refundable after a billing period begins, except where law requires otherwise or a specific offer says otherwise. We may change future prices or plan limits with notice before they affect an existing paid subscription, subject to your right to cancel. Non-payment may limit or suspend paid features.

9. Availability and third-party providers

ZMEU relies on AI models, cloud hosting, storage, social platforms, payment services, and other providers. We work to keep the service available but do not promise uninterrupted operation, a particular generation time, permanent availability of any model, or successful delivery to a third-party platform. We may pause service for maintenance, security, or provider outages.

10. ZMEU intellectual property and feedback

ZMEU and its licensors retain rights in the software, website, interface, brand, templates we provide, and underlying technology. Your subscription grants a limited, non-exclusive right to use the service while your account is active and compliant with these Terms. If you send feedback, we may use it to improve ZMEU without obligation to compensate you, but we will not publish your private content as a testimonial without permission.

11. Account closure and data

You may request account deletion. Closing an account ends access to its workspace, subscriptions, and stored content, subject to administrator rights, legal retention, billing records, and backup cycles. Export anything you need before deletion. Deletion from ZMEU does not remove material already published to third-party services. See our data deletion instructions and Privacy Policy.

12. Disclaimers and liability

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not promise that outputs are accurate, original, suitable for a particular purpose, or compliant with law or platform rules. Neither party excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for its fraud or intentional misconduct. Subject to those limits, Cogniten KLG is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or a third party’s platform or provider failure.

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from the service is limited to the fees you paid ZMEU in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. This limit does not reduce rights that applicable consumer law makes non-waivable.

13. Changes and disputes

We may update these Terms. We will post the revised date and provide additional notice for material changes where required. Changes to an existing paid period will not remove mandatory rights. Swiss law governs these Terms, subject to mandatory protections that apply where you live. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve a concern informally.
